Foodie News x Restaurant Reviews x Hip-Hop Attitude

In 2010, I (Nick Love) spent over 45% of my annual income eating out at some of Atlanta's best (and worst) restaurants. So, who better to guide you through the city's crowded dining terrain?? Now, I, along with my team of Hip-Hop generation foodies, will expose and review ATL's newest hits, hidden gems, and old favorites. Hopefully, this blog will earn us a free meal or two while we point you guys in the direction of some good food and steer you away from the wackness. Let's eat!!!

Strip Club Food Spotlight: Wings @ MAGIC CITY

Name: Magic City
Cuisine: American Bar/Grill
Neighborhood: Downtown
Address: 241 Forsyth St. SW Atlanta, GA 30303
Phone Number: (404) 584-5847

Right now, those of you who are not in the know are saying:

"Ewww, you EAT at the STRIP CLUB??"

YES, I DO!!!

Surprisingly, the strip clubs in Atlanta serve some of the best food around.  Some items can be relatively pricey but, considering the environment, it's worth it.  What red-blooded American male (or woman if that's your thing) wouldn't want to enjoy a tasty meal surrounded by some of the sexiest women in the city wearing the bare necessities (or not).

Magic City, the world famous adult entertainment hot spot in the heart of downtown Atlanta, boasts some of the best hot and lemon pepper chicken wings in the city.  For $10, you can get 10 wings with a side of fries and your choice of bleu cheese or ranch dressing.  The fries are seasoned just right and the wings are fried just crispy enough to make that cool crunch sound.

The only thing keeping these wings from being considered perfect is the wait time.  The kitchen is small so it can take 20-30 minutes or longer to get your food most days.  But, I gotta tell you, the music and the chance that you might get to see @FrostiFlakes and @BarbieBentley in action make the wait time slightly more enjoyable than your average restaurant.

Grade: B+
What's Great: Ambiance
What Ain't: Wait Time, Pay for Parking (depending on time of day)
Ideal For: Recreational Eating.  Lol
