Last week, I told you about those super dope wings at Magic City. But, honestly, I think the shrimp at Strokers is the cream of the crop when it comes to strip club food. This is where I go when I'm hungry at 1 in the morning while everyone else is at Krystals or Waffle House.
Nestled on the Eastside of ATL off of Highway 78 in a shopping plaza on Brockett Rd, Strokers has been alive and kicking for quite some time. But, it wasn't until like 5 or 6 years ago that the kitchen began to gain some notoriety. So much so that they built a second kitchen next door and opened it as a take out restaurant that you could access without ever coming into the actual club.
Their menu is composed of your typical bar food - wings, fries, salads, etc. But, the highlight of their menu has to be the fried shrimp. Now, I'm not talking about some fake, frozen, popcorn shrimp. I'm talking big, juicy, seasoned to perfection seafood. You have to see it and taste it to believe it. Couple it with fries and you got yourself a real meal.
The price for the shrimp & fries combo could be a little better - $15 (or more with tip). But, to be honest, once you taste it, you won't even be mad. The wait time is reasonable (much better than Magic City) and the girls are hot (advantage Magic City on this though). Overall, this is probably my absolute favorite strip club to grab a bite in. I give it 2 thumbs and a. . . nevermind. 2 thumbs up!!! Lol
