ATL BITE LIFE Cash Mob #2 at Stir It Up (July 17th)
Join ATL Bite Life TOMORROW, July 17th from 6pm til 10pm for our second CASH MOB at our favorite Caribbean spot, Stir it Up (1083 Euclid Ave in Little 5 Points). This time, we're doing it for a good cause. A portion of the sales from this night will be donated to Athletes For Haiti and The Anacaona Foundation. Yes, they're STILL rebuilding Haiti.
Now, if you missed our previous event, you're probably wondering, "what is a "cash mob"?? Well, it's kinda like the more popular term "flash mob" except there's no dancing involved (*wipes forehead*). A cash mob is a group of people who assemble at a local business and all purchase items from that business. The purpose of these mobs is to support the local businesses and the overall community. In this case, I'm asking all my ATLiens to take a couple hours before you head over to Onyx, Pearl Lounge, or whatever you do on Tuesday night and come eat some jerk chicken and some rice & peas with the rest of the cool kids of the A. Let these kids have the night life. The grown and sexy rule the Bite Life!
So, I hope you save some room in your stomach tomorrow. That brown stew snapper isn't for the light snacker. I'm expecting to see ALL of you this time out. Tell a friend to tell a friend. The cool table keeps getting bigger and we're willing to pull up as many seats as needed.

June is Soul Food Month
So, here's the play. We're gonna be snapping pics and reviewing as many soul food spots as our stomachs can handle and we need your help finding out where to go. Sure, we know all of the usual suspects - Busy Bee, Chanterelles, Gladys Knight's, etc. But, I'm sure there's a spot in your hood that YOU think is crushing all of those. Tell us about it. There's a couple spots on the Eastside (Decatur where it's greater) that I KNOW ya'll don't know about that have some GREAT food!!! I'm definitely gonna put ya'll on.

A Taste of the Highlands Starts TOMORROW (May 19)
If you don't have your tickets yet, you might wanna hurry up and scoop them ASAP. Word is, they're expecting to sell out on this event. And, with the 30+ restaurants that they have involved, I'm surprised it isn't sold out already. There are two participating restaurants in particular that I've been wanting to try - DBA Barbecue and Ecco. I'm thinking I may get my tix just to check these spots out. Creative Loafing Drink Week Starts TODAY (May 17-23)
As my favorite time of year approaches, only one thing comes to mind . . . COCKTAILS!!! I mean, you have to admit, there's really no better way to celebrate the start of summer than with a little blissful inebriation. In honor of that, our amigos over at Creative Loafing are kicking off their 3rd Annual Drink Week TODAY and continuing it through next Wednesday (May 23).
For you newbies out there, I'll explain how it all goes down. Roving drinkers visit spots like Diesel Filling Station, Fernbank, and Harbour Bar & Fish House for good times and great drink specials. For some of you, this might sound like a normal Saturday night. Lol. But, for the rest of us, this is an opportunity to experience a fair amount of new concoctions at a discounted price.
Oh, and I would be completely remiss if I didn't tell you guys about the built in "hydrate and rest your liver'' day on 5/22. This means that your cocktail of choice should be WATER!!! Definitely a thoughtful touch from the organizers and sponsors.
I'm about 99% sure you guys will run into either me, Mach, or Nick (if not all of us) during Drink Week reppin' ATL Bite Life with drinks in hand. If YOU decide to get your drink on at some point during the 7-day celebration, let us know. Leave a comment below or tweet us.

Taste of Alpharetta Is TODAY!!!
Ok, Lifers. Just minutes ago, we found out about the 22nd Annual Taste of Alpharetta which begins AND ends TODAY. S/O to our boy Kurt!!! We wish we could've given you a little more advanced notice but I guess we weren't really in the loop on this one. Sorry. It happens from time to time though. Bare with us.
I do find it a little odd though that an area like Alpharetta, which most Atlantans would consider to be one of the more affluent areas of the city, is doing a Taste event on a THURSDAY for just 5 hours (5pm-10pm). They might wanna rename this thing Tidbit of Alpharetta. By the time anyone could make it up US 400 in that dreaded mid-week rush hour traffic, you'll only have about 30 minutes to cram whatever you happen to be near in your mouth. Maybe I'm trippin' though.
If you do decide to head that way, let us know. It's going down in downtown Alpharetta and they have over 60 participating restaurants and vendors. Click here to view the full list. There are way more chain restaurants participating than we'd personally care to see BUT good, inexpensive food is never bad at any time.

The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival Starts TOMORROW (May 10-13)
This weekend long event puts patrons in front of the best chefs, mixologists, barbecue pit masters, and local growers that the city has to offer all in the name of celebrating the food and beverage traditions of the South. At least that's what their website says. But, when you start to click around and find information on the various scheduled events, you see numbers like $100 to enter the Tasting Tents, $150/person for the dinners, $180 for day passes, and $500 for 3 day passes. I don't know about ya'll but that doesn't really seem to reek of southern tradition and hospitality to me. But hey, what do I know??
I will say this. I looked at the video footage from last year's event and it looked amazing!!! The food looked top notch and the level of expertise from the chefs and other experts in attendance was unlike anything I've seen at other festivals. I was definitely impressed!!! This is definitely an event that I would like to check out but, at those numbers, it's highly unlikely that I'll be in the building. #imjustsayin

Top 10 Places To Cinco Your De Mayo in Atlanta
Ok, folks. Cinco de Mayo is TOMORROW!!! And, if you know like I know, you're aware that every NON-Mexican person in the ATL will be turnt up off of tequila and tacos from say noon til about 3 in the morning. Smh. I'm not exactly sure how this became National Drinking Day in the USA but it is what it is and there's no turning back now. So, where will YOU be Cinco-ing your De Mayo?? One of my interns actually put me on to this spot a couple months ago. The place is pretty much brand new and it sits right in the Emory University area. Thanks to the kindness of one of the bar managers, I had the opportunity to sample a few of their tequilas. This is why I don't have any pics of the place that aren't fuzzy. Lol. Tomorrow, they are doing $2 Jimador Shots, $3 Tecate, and $10 26 oz. Veev Margaritas. WOW!!!

Love this place!!! I've only been to one of the locations (Akers Mill by Cumberland Mall) but the rooftop patio alone at this location is reason enough to get your Cinco on. If you go, get the Nachos Grande and some jalapeno queso dip.

This is one of my favorite spots in the city. Yes, it's in Midtown which, for reasons I won't mention, can make some of my less tolerant non-Midtowners slightly uncomfortable. But, the food is really good (try the bang bang shrimp taco) and the drinks are very strong.

I'm not exactly sure what a Hacienda is but I do know that I really use to like this place when I was going thru my "Castleberry/Peters St is the greatest thing in Atlanta" phase. But, I've gotta admit that after I started to venture out and try other Mexican spots around the city, I fell out of love with No Mas pretty fast. In my opinion, it's a little too pricey for what it is and how it tastes. *shrug* However, I hear that their Cinco de Mayo celebration is off the chain!

Once again, I've only been to one of their locations (the one in downtown Woodstock) but the rooftop patio is just as fly as the one at Cinco. The food was a little "ehh" but the drinks weren't bad at all. If you're looking for a spot to just pour some Patron down your gullet without a whole lot of food to absorb some of that alcohol, this might be a good choice.

I've driven past the Peachtree St location a million times over the years but my very first time going in was like a couple of months ago for a meeting with Young Jeezy (who claims he's a foodie). It wasn't bad. I played it safe with the chicken quesadilla and a couple of tacos. No complaints. That Texas margarita I washed it down with wasn't bad either. The selling point for Cinco de Mayo though - the front patio faces Peachtree St. #Win

Ahh, the memories I have of La Parilla. I was actually arrested in the parking lot of the Howell Mill location one time on my way to my beautiful PR friend Tamiko Hope's birthday party. Smh. She's actually the one who put me on to this place. But, don't let that little tidbit deter you from the goodness of La Parilla. Quality food and great drinks is what they serve here. While you're there, you MUST try the Marga-Rona/Corona-Rita. INCREDIBLE!!! Basically 2 drinks in one. Margaritas and Corona at the same damn time (Future voice)!!! In years past, the crowd at La Parilla on Howell Mill has been borderline legendary. So, if you're gonna go, you may wanna get there early and post up.

This place seems to be the default spot for Mexican food lovers in Atlanta. Every Cinco de Mayo story I've ever heard from my white foodie friends begins with "This one time, I was at Tin Lizzy's. . . ". Very American Pie-ish. Lol. From listening to the radio this morning, it sounds like Q100 (or maybe just The Bert Show) is doing something for Cinco de Mayo at the Buckhead location. If I heard correctly, there's a 5K run attached to the event too. If you go, let us know how it goes.

Our love for Taqueria del Sol is pretty well documented. Their food is the standard by which we hold all other "Taquerias". We've never done Cinco de Mayo here but I hear it's a jolly good time once that sun starts beaming and that covered patio gets full of margarita drinkers. Make sure you grab a couple of fried chicken tacos while you're there. Also, once you're nice and drunk, try not to throw those oranges on the big square table at anyone. I've heard that that is frowned upon. Lol

I can not tell a lie. I'm not a fan of Loca Luna at all. The food is beyond mediocre to me. However, to not tell you that this place is gonna be a ZOO on Saturday would be doing my readers a disservice. Loca Luna will probably be the most packed place in the city come 3pm. So, if you like big crowds and long lines, this is the place for you. But, if you want good food and good drinks, there are 9 other suggestions above.

Taste of Marietta (April 29, 2012)
This is gonna be one of those weekends!!! Not only is the weather INCREDIBLE here in the A but the Braves (who are on a pretty decent winning streak) are playing at Turner Field, the NBA Playoffs are kicking off (our hometown Hawks are making their fifth consecutive postseason appearance), AND last but certainly not least is the Taste of Marietta.
Going down tomorrow (Sunday) in the Historic Marietta Square from 11am - 7pm, Marietta's "Taste" boasts over 80 participating restaurants and vendors. Hopefully this will be enough to accommodate the more than 70,000 people that are expected to attend. There will be live entertainment all day as well as games and activities for the kids. Admission is free but food will be sold at prices ranging from $0.50-4.00. Side Note: What could possibly be on sale for $0.50?? Lol.

Attention all ye celebrators of 4/20: Join ATL Bite Life TONIGHT at Cloud IX (177 Peters St) as we, along with our friends DJ Black Bill Gates, Exit65, and Mighty Entertainment present the Fish N Grits Radio 4/20 Fest. It's a party and a show!!! Performing live - Pill, Sean Falyon, 2win, Young Lyxx, Mighty Network, Slice 9, and more. It's going down and you need to be in the building!!!
Now, just to be clear, we will not be serving actual fish and grits. Fish N Grits is actually the name of the new online radio program that will soon be launching this summer here in Atlanta. However, we will be enjoying some of those delicious tilapia fingers that Cloud IX has on the menu.

Hunger Hits Home on Food Network This Saturday
This Saturday, we here at ATL Bite Life are encouraging ALL of our readers to postpone your dinner plans or just stay in all together and park yourselves in front of the TV. Food Network along with an organization called Share Our Strength is presenting a special documentary on childhood hunger here in the United States - a topic that many of us, especially in the foodie community, tend to forget exists in this country. Even today, I had to kinda take a step back and remember the times when eating out was one of the RAREST of luxuries in my life. My parents worked very hard to make sure that me and my brothers never missed a meal. However, we were far from living the "bite life". These days, I've been eating so good and so frequently that I created a whole site and show around me looking for new places to eat and new cuisines to experience. Funny how things change.
Hunger Hits Home will take a first hand look at this nationwide crisis thru the eyes of the children, parents, activists, educators, and politicians that are actively fighting this battle on a daily basis. It is Food Network and Share Our Strength's hope that this documentary will be a call to action for viewers to join the fight by making donations and/or community involvement. According to the site, their goal is effectively end childhood hunger by the year 2015. I'm all for that!!!
The documentary will air at 8pm EST. If you can't catch it then, set your DVR or After you watch it, come back here to this post and leave comments about what you saw. We'd love to know how you felt about it.

VIDEO: ATL Bite Life Talks To Ale Sharpton at The Atlanta Chef's Expo 2012
A couple of weeks ago, me and Mach Diesel went on over to The Foundry @ Puritan Mills for the Atlanta Chef's Expo 2012. It was a pretty cool event. Lots of good food, some very nice people, and there was even a "Wobble" line dance that broke out. Lol. Only in Atlanta!
Anyway, while we were there, I ran into my boy Ale Sharpton. He's a new friend that I met thru my cousin Bem. For those of you who don't know him, he's essentially ATL Bite Life for the beer world. His show is called Crusin' For A Brewsin' and it's very dope!!! He also writes columns about beer for several local and national magazines and websites. He definitely does his thing!!!
We chopped it up a little bit on camera and he schooled me on the finer points of pouring, sipping, and enjoying a cold brew. In this case, it was a glass of Stella Artois. Good stuff!!!

Mark Your Calendar: The 25th Annual Steamhouse Lounge Oysterfest THIS WEEKEND!!!
But seriously, quite a few of ya'll hit me to explain the greatness of oysters. For two days, all I heard was, "You don't know what you're missing". Well, you're right. I've never tried them and I can't say when I ever will. ESPECIALLY the RAW ones. But, this whole situation did make me realize that a lot of you really dig those nasty little things in a shell. Lol. So, this post is for YOU!!!
This Saturday AND Sunday, you need to make your way over to the Steamhouse Lounge (at the intersection of West Peachtree and 11th Street) for their 25th Annual Oysterfest. Now, this isn't like the Lobster Fest over at Red Lobster where they're just running a special. This is a 2 day block party!!! There will be music, beer, and PLENTY OF OYSTERS. You have to buy tickets to attend - $20 for a 2 day pass or $10 for just one day.
I haven't decided if I'm gonna send Mach Diesel or Sakina or someone else from the crew to check it out. I mean, based on the talent lineup on the site, I don't think the majority of this crowd really fits the Bite Life target demographic. However, good oysters are good oysters no matter what music is playing, right??

Mark Your Calendar: Atlanta Chef's Expo THIS SUNDAY!!!
Well, if you haven't gotten your tickets to the 2012 Atlanta Chef's Expo before reading this post, it seems as though you're gonna be S.O.L. I just took a look at the site a few seconds ago and this event is SOLD OUT!!! But, fear not!!! ATL Bite Life will be in the building giving you all the coverage you can handle.
Now, don't feel too bad about yourself if you're not familiar with the Atlanta Chef's Expo. I, myself, was not too in the know prior to a couple of weeks ago. But, after reading up on it, I'm pretty excited. Basically, it's a big taste test that's open to the general public. Local chefs that may be affiliated with a restaurant or own/work for a catering company are asked to prepare their "specialty" dish(es) for food lovers, like us LIFERS, to enjoy. Kinda similar to Taste of Atlanta but on a much smaller scale.
It's primarily a showcase for local chefs. However, there will be a competition aspect to it. Those in attendance will be able to vote for their "Fan Favorite" and for "Most Creative" chef. There will also be cooking demonstrations and entertainment. I mean, food PLUS music! What's better than that??
The Expo goes down THIS Sunday, February 19th from 1:30 - 5:30pm at the Foundry at Puritan Mill (916 Joseph Lowery Blvd NW). It's a charity event with a portion of the proceeds going to support breast cancer research through Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Greater Atlanta.

Top 9 Last Minute Dining Options in ATL for V-Day 2K12
OK, folks. You don't have to tell me. I already know. Valentine's Day snuck up on you. You KNEW it was coming but, between football season ending, work, the kids, bills, the Grammys, etc, you kept putting it off. Now, February 14th is staring you in the face and you haven't made any plans at all for the big day. I understand. It happens. Smh.
No worries though. I got you. My last name isn't LOVE for nothing. I'm about to put you guys on to some of my Top 9 romantic tuck away spots that, even on Valentine's Day Eve, you should be able to get into with either last minute or no reservations. Each spot has delicious food (except for #8) and the prices are pretty darn reasonable. I PROMISE you, you will not be disappointed.
1. Capers (1635 Old Hwy 41 Kennesaw, GA 30152) - This is my early candidate for /ATL Bite Life's Best Restaurant of 2012. Don't let their website fool you, they have some of the BEST food I've ever tasted!!! Their Hawaiian Ribeye is BETTER than Houstons. Their crab claws rival anything you've had a Pappadeaux. And, their Toasted Strawberry Pound Cake is unlike ANYTHING you've ever tasted!!! If you're on the Northside of town, THIS is where you need to be tomorrow night.
2. Marlows Tavern (Various Locations in Metro Atlanta) - I'm not shocked that many of my folks don't know about this place. I rode past the ones on Northlake Pkwy and West Peachtree for years without ever considering stopping. But, once I did, I was definitely digging it. I'd definitely recommend their Sunday brunch over their normal menu BUT they do have a few things that I think you'll enjoy - the steaks and burgers in particular. And, their ambiance isn't bad at all.
3. Cinco (4 Locations in Metro Atlanta) - I found out about this spot late last year during my taco craving phase. I walked in expecting a scaled up version of Moes. But, what I got was much closer to fine dining than Taco Bell. The ambiance was sexy, there was a decent wine selection, and the prices were very reasonable. While it's a little too cold for the rooftop balcony (at the Akers Mill location), their regular dining room can set the mood for any couple. For Valentine's Day, they have a Surf & Turf for Two special (Two, 4oz filet mignon steaks and Maine lobster enchiladas over cilantro bacon potato cake served with Aztec Chocolate Mousse cake for $32.95). Get on over to Open Table to make your reservations NOW!!!
4. Double Zero Napoletana (5825 Roswell Rd. Atlanta, GA 30328) - If you've been reading this blog for any amount of time, you know that ATL Bite Life has been singing the praises of Double Zero for quite a while. The food is great and the ambiance is very romantic. It's not some side of the road pizza joint. It's authentic Italian cuisine with a couple of pizzas thrown in. You'll love it!!! 5. Mosaic (3097 Maple Dr. Atlanta, GA 30305) - Long before there was an ATL Bite Life, me and Tiffany Dime were already working on doing a Saturday or Sunday brunch event of the industry crowd. That's how we came across Mosaic. It's tucked away in Buckhead on a side street not too far from Piedmont or Pharr Rd (depending on which way you're coming from). It's small, quaint, the service is fast, and the food is really good. You can make reservations at Mosaic on Open Table. And, if I'm not mistaken, there just might be a Scoutmob deal for Mosaic. #WIN
6. Sweet Georgia's Juke Joint (200 Peachtree St. Atlanta, GA 30303) - Right downtown in the middle of the city, you'll find this INCREDIBLE soul food restaurant with top notch service and live music on a nightly basis. I actually took Travis Porter to this restaurant for The ATL Bite Life Show (episode coming soon). The food [and drinks - try the Moonshine with pineapple (the cocktail, not the shot)] are much better than similar restaurants like Gladys Knight and Justins, and the ambiance is more conducive to an evening out with your significant other. Oh, and if you're lucky enough to catch Gritz & Jelly Butter (maybe the best live band in Atlanta) performing, it's an experience that you'll never forget. This place can get full fast so go ahead and make your reservations ASAP. Ask for Stephanie. She's hands down the best hostess in the city!!!
7. Cajun Crabhouse (3220 Butner Rd. Atlanta, GA 30331) - If you're on the Southside, you need to pull up a table at this seafood sanctuary right off of Camp Creek Pkwy. Expect to hear a lot about this place moving forward because it's the site for our Crab Legs Eating Competition at the end of March. And, speaking of crab legs, they've got some of the best!!! The atmosphere is cozy and the stiff drinks will keep you warm no matter what the weather is here in ATL. The Key Lime Pie martini is a must try!!!
8. Waffle House (Way too many locations in Metro Atlanta) - In one of the more disturbing bits of Bite Life news that I've heard in a while, Awful Waffle House is allowing patrons to make reservations at select locationsLol. Personally, I HATE Waffle House. But, if you met your boo at one of AG's nightclubs and then proceeded to Waffle House for a little four play, this could be a bit of an anniversary as well.
9. Whole Foods Market (8 locations around Metro Atlanta) - If all else fails, COOKING is your last option. But, I got a cheat code for those of you that are a little challenged in the kitchen. Head over to everyone's favorite organic grocery store and buy 2 pounds of big gulf shrimp and a couple of pounds of crab legs. Have the guy behind the seafood counter STEAM them for you (preferably with some Old Bay seasoning). Grab a couple of baking potatoes that you can pop in the microwave for 10-15 minutes on High to get them nice and soft. Pick up some spinach greens, a tomato, and some shredded cheese for a fresh salad (topped with your choice of dressing). Finally, top it off by going over to the bakery and grabbing one of their delicious cupcakes OR their strawberry cake (usually $19 but on sale this week for $15). You can't lose with this!!!

Ladies ONLY Crab Legs Eating Competition - March 31st
Hola, Bite Lifers!!! 1000 apologies for not posting yesterday. We got some pretty big things coming up that we had to attend to. One of which being today's announcement.
On Saturday, March 31st, ATLBiteLife.com is putting on our very first eating competition. We're inviting the LADIES of ATL (fellas, fall back) to come out and participate in our first Crab Legs Eating Competition at our new favorite spot, The Cajun Crabhouse (3220 Butner Rd, off of Camp Creek Pkwy). That's right!!! We're hitting the Southside up for some good ol' American gluttony!!! Did we mention that we're giving away a CASH prize to the winner??

VIDEO: ATL Bite Life Hits Up The Pizza Making Class @ Double Zero Napoletana

About a week ago, the ATL Bite Life crew was invited to take part in the Pizza Making Class at Double Zero Napoletana off of Roswell Rd. This was my first time at Double Zero, so I was very excited to get a first hand account of the ambiance, service, and food that Nick raved about in his review. If it was really all that he said it was, I knew I was in for a treat.
Walking in, I didn't get the vibe of a pizza spot. It gave me the feel of an upscale Italian restaurant with its dimmed lights, bar area, and two dining rooms. My expectations were already exceeded.
As I joined the others attending the class, we were introduced to Nate, one of the amazing pizzaiolos at Double Zero, who facilitated our class and gave us the ins and outs of pizza making. Nate also gave us the story behind the gigantic ovens that you'll see in the video above. These specially handcrafted Ferrara ovens are so big, the restaurant was literally built AROUND them. Oh, and they get crazy hot, I'm talking temperatures exceeding 800 degrees.
Now, I know it was a pizza making class but I never expected to actually press out my own dough (with the help of Nate, of course). We had the option of several toppings, our sauce, and types of cheese to choose from. For my pizza, I chose their delicious San Marzano Tomato sauce. San Marzanos are a less bitter tomato so they give a bit of sweetness to the pizza. Then, I decided to go with their fresh mozzarella, olives, wild mushrooms, and caramelized onions for my toppings. In no time, Joel (probably the World's best server) came out with my pizza. And when I say that pizza was awesome. . . Matter of fact, it was beyond awesome!!! Nothing like the commercial pizza places that I frequent. Honestly, I don't think I can go back to commercial pizza after tasting the authentic pizza that Double Zero makes.
You guys gotta try this pizza and of course the other items on the menu. Join us for the next pizza making class. It's delicious and lots of fun!!! Trust me, it's worth the drive.
Oh, and before I go, I wanna shout out two of Double Zero's regular customers - Ellen and her son. These two absolutely LOVE Double Zero and I think you will too.

VIDEO: ATL Bite Life Hits The Atlanta Underground Market

The Atlanta Underground Market was held Saturday, January 7th at the The Atlanta History Center in Buckhead. Being that The Atlanta Underground Market is made up of roughly 40 local food vendors, it would only be right for the ATL Bite Life crew to stop in, try a few dishes, and let our readers know what we really thought about the event.
The first thing I noticed upon entering the event was the amount of people. The event began maybe 10 minutes before I walked in and, already, the entire room was consumed. About 15 minutes after that, the room was pretty much at fire hazard capacity. With everyone in that small space, it made the room feel about 85 degrees.
Since my goal was to try as many new things as possible, I decided to get in line to try an Arepa (something like flatbread) stuffed with shredded beef, onions, bell peppers, and cheese from Arepa Mia. It was so yummy and definitely worth the wait (the line for Arepa Mia was LITERALLY out the door).
The next stop was a table called Nice & Spicy. Unfortunately, I the food wasn't spicy at all. And, there's nothing nice about bland food. I was terribly underwhelmed and disappointed in the Escovitch Fish & Festival (something like fried dumplings). I'm a huge fan of Escovitch Fish so when I saw it on their menu, my mouth was prepared for some heat. But, instead, I got a few pieces of cold, fried Tilapia sprinkled with some type of weak pepper sauce. I was truly bothered (to put it mildly).
Last, but certainly not least, my favorite item of the night without a doubt was the Prosecco & Blood Orange Curd Cupcakes by Iced Gourmet Cakery. These cupcakes had a mild citrus flavor balanced by the sweetness of the Prosecco. To say they were good would truly be an understatement. These were not the mundane cupcakes found at your local grocery store. And they certainly were not anything you've baked with your mom as a kid growing up. These eloquent cupcakes are as grown and sexy as they were delicious!!! I am really looking forward to seeing and tasting other pieces of artwork by them.
There were so many other food vendors that I really wanted to try but either the lines were too long OR the vendors had sold out of food. Hopefully, next time, this event will be held in a space big enough to accommodate the people attending.
